The sequel of the incredible book Una Cosa Easy, made with the incredibly talented Blumello, is finally here!
Setting and themes
We wanted to focus on boredom and its consequences, so Tazza, Boccia and Vaso decide to explore a big museum (literally “Museone”). Of course, they find themselves involved in unusual situations. One of them being entering in the artworks and watching a giant apricot poop. (for the italians reading, “fa l’Albicacca” – A-poo-ricot).
Extra Extras
We had another round of weird characters to populate our pages. These are some of the ones who made the cut. We had a bit of background for each of them. Also, we knew we wanted The Little Prince and the Fox to argue.
The eras tour covers
As the previous projects, (here, for instance), we explored different ideas before settling for the definitive cover. At some point, i even imagined a cover layout pretty explicitly inspired by the Eras Tour by Taylor Swift (since i could not attend it unluckily). Blumello didn’t really enjoy it, so i guess the only explicit mention of this will be here.
Framing folly
To promote the comic during Arf24, we framed some of the main characters. They truly have the phisique-du-role to appear in a museum!
There are some guests in this collection of pictures, they’re pretty easy to spot!
Some Pages
We found ourselves delighted by the idea of changing styles to enter in the spirit of the different pictures and artworks. (Something similar actually happened with Once Upon a Friend), so we explored several graphic styles.
