The Idea
The idea for Once Upon a Friend was simple: I really wanted to start working with the incredible Blumello, so we decided to brainstorm some ideas about a way in which we could both write and draw a story. Soon enough, we started talking about imaginary friends, and our fascination for the matter.
Some Setting
Tina lives in a tree house. I’ve always wanted to try and design one. So, i did some preparatory sketches and renderings.
Unused cover
We liked the idea to have a continuative cover, something that spans from the back side to the front side. This was one of the ideas. I still like it.
